Innovative Interventions
Ketamine Infusion Therapy
Ketamine therapy is a revolutionary therapeutic approach to treating depression and anxiety disorders. Ketamine therapy is significantly more effective than traditional pharmaceuticals, is very safe, and is usually life-changing.
Numerous studies, continued research, and clinical experience over the past 20 years have shown that low dose intravenously administered ketamine can dramatically improve symptoms associated with depression and many anxiety disorders. Often, even when other treatments have failed to provide any relief, IV ketamine is effective.
Massachusetts Ketamine, PLLC follows APA consensus guidelines for the administration of low-dose IV ketamine. All new patients have a series of six infusions spaced over two or three weeks. Each infusion is dosed at 0.5 mg/kg administered over 40 minutes. In general, infusions are painless and well tolerated. Most patients experience significant relief during the series and many remain symptom free for extended periods of time following the initial treatment protocol.

Deep TMS is a highly effective, non-invasive FDA approved treatment for depression and OCD. dTMS is a medical procedure that works by delivering highly focused MRI-strength magnetic pulses to non-invasively stimulate the part of your brain involved in mood (for treatment resistant depression) or anxiety (for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Neural Health Therapies offers BrainsWay's deep TMS system, a unique patented treatment method that stimulates deep and broad brain structures for improved accuracy and efficacy.
The treatment session is conducted using a helmet called a “coil” that delivers energy to the brain using pulsed magnetic fields. Patients sit in a comfortable chair, have the TMS device placed on their head, receive pulses for 20 minutes, then can return to work or their normal routine. These magnetic fields are similar to those used in MRI machines. Patients being treated with dTMS do not require anesthesia or sedation. They remain awake and alert and return to work or their daily routine immediately after each treatment. Neural Health Therapies offers this service to patients with treatment resistant depression and OCD.
TMS has helped countless numbers of patients who have lived with anxiety or depression for years and have failed numerous medication trials due to lack of efficacy or side effects.

While Neural Health Therapies does not require that you are referred by your current treatment provider, we believe it is important that we work together with your existing network in order to offer the highest level of care. We will maintain contact with your current primary care physician, psychiatrist and/or therapists every step of the way.
Our services are not meant to be stand alone, they should rather be viewed as additional augmentative interventions as part of your larger treatment plan.
